KLINION kliniplast, sterile, waterproof island plaster; for slightly to moderately exuding wounds.
The sterile, non-woven island plaster consists of a polyethylene wound contact layer, a slightly absorbent non-woven wound pad, a polyurethane top layer and a polyacrylate adhesive edge. The island plaster is suitable for slightly to moderately exuding wounds, such as acute and postoperative wounds. The wound contact layer is non-adhesive, which prevents damage to new tissue when removing the plaster. The polyurethane top layer is semi-permeable, water vapour permeable from the inside, but waterproof and bacteria-proof from the outside, which prevents maceration of the wound edge. The plaster is waterproof, which makes showering possible. The adhesive edge is made of hypoallergenic acrylate, ensures firm fixation of the plaster and prevents rolling up of the corners.
