I.V. Dressing for Secure Cannula Fixation with High Patient Comfort
Cosmopor I.V. is a sterile, self-adhesive wound dressing designed for covering and securing cannulas/catheters. It consists of an adhesive-coated nonwoven material with an intravenous (I.V.) opening for the insertion of a cannula and an integrated absorbent pad.

Cosmopor I.V.
A self-adhesive I.V. dressing for the fixation of cannulas, made from a soft nonwoven carrier material. It features a specially coated, non-adherent wound pad and an additional separate pad that protects against pressure points caused by the indwelling cannula. Skin-friendly thanks to its hypoallergenic synthetic adhesive.
Cosmopor I.V. Transparent
Cosmopor I.V. Transparent consists of a transparent polyurethane film coated with medical-grade acrylic adhesive and a polyester spunbond nonwoven coated with a medical-grade synthetic rubber adhesive.
The nonwoven backing includes a transparent window covered with the polyurethane film, allowing visual inspection of the puncture site and cannula/catheter during application. Both the nonwoven material and the transparent polyurethane film feature an opening for precise cannula positioning.
