Klinion ointment dressing is made of 100% unbleached cotton, with one side of the fabric roughened. This material does not absorb the ointment, allowing any ointment used to work on the wound or infected area. The composition and structure of ointment dressing actually ensures that the ointment is absorbed more effectively into the wound, rather than into the dressing itself.

This product is often used for the prevention and treatment of infected areas. This product is also used as an "ointment flap" for covering ointment on areas such as inflammatory infiltrates.

Use

• Always apply the roughened, fluffy side (with or without ointment) to the skin. For use on infected areas, avoid skin-to-skin contact by placing a piece of Klinion English lint between the skin folds. Keep skin folds dry and avoid excessive sweating.
